Little Man, Grandpa and Football!

Little man and grandpa spent a little of the morning (I say little because an almost 10 month old's attention span is well . . . little) watching football.  Grandpa has dreamed of this day since Jed was born, not to mention dreaming of football from the closing play of the Superbowl until it starts again in the fall.  The picture is from my iPhone - so its not perfect, but I could not resist.  My heart melted when I looked over and saw this.  Enjoy!!

Reflections - Trans Sierra 2011

Enjoy!!
Every year my husband Eric spends a week backpacking in the Sierra's.  The same group of guys have done this for years!  It is a great time of reflection, bonding, eating, hiking and fun!  One year they had a T-Shirt printed that said "Trans Sierra - Great Food and Mediocre Friends".
I would beg to differ on this - these friends are the real deal!
Hope you enjoy the pictures below!
If you do, you may want to click on the link below and check out their website complete with pictures from past years and menu's!!  These guys know how to eat!

Brad and my husband Eric (big Eric)
Eric (little Eric) We have known Eric since medical school.  In fact, I was at the beach with this Eric (just friends) when I met big Eric and we started dating a few months after.
Ask the boys sometime if you want the story . . . it's getting better as the years wear on!

Eric's Trip - Otherwise known as The Hanson Death March

So today (7/25/11) Eric and his friends are at this little lake camping for the night.
There is some fun technology available where they can GPS their location and it emails all of the wives!
I took a screen shot of it to share with you.  This area is out of Sequoia National Park.  They left on Saturday and will return this coming Friday!
