Christmas 2009

Just wanted to give you a sneak preview to our Christmas this year. Darlene's family was in town and we have had a wonderful time! Presently, we are playing games, blogging, and watching a special on the Rocky Mountains. Our bellies are full and we are warm. We are so thankful for the blessing of shelter, food & family!

Honesty & Integrity

I recently was reading a chapter from a book and was reminded of what my parents always told me. It's sometimes easier to do the wrong thing, but it's always better to do the right thing. Our integrity matters more than our reputation because we cannot control what others think of us . . . and that is our reputation. But our honesty and integrity does help dictate our reputation. That is in our control . . . and what really does matter is how we take care of the little things day in and day out, when you think no one is watching. Because someone always is and for sure God is . . .
